Investing in Real Estate can be tricky. What many people don't know is that there are many ways you may be able to add real estate to your portfolio without having to buy a property or two (or ten). In my conversation with alternative investment specialist, Gaston Escudero, we discuss this and a little known secret known as a DST. A DST may have 200 million worth of institutional real estate property and can be a resource to multiple investors that can get access to this pool of real estate. It's also a vehicle that supports a 1031 exchange.
